Turning a Six-Site Estate into the Answer AI Engines Give

The Challenge

Six websites, one brand, and search working against itself.

K2 Group is a global mobility group: specialist relocation, immigration, advisory and communications businesses under one roof. The estate runs on six Webflow sites, a group hub plus brands covering everyday relocation, bespoke moves for executives and families, immigration and cross-border work, mobility advisory, and the group's foundation. Six sites means six content libraries, six templates, and six places for search to go wrong.

A move away from the group's old domain had left rankings behind. Service-level searches never made the jump to the new sites, and roughly 261 ranked URLs were stranded on a domain the business no longer used.

The previous agency leaned on automated tools. K2 wanted a different shape of partnership: one partner taking full ownership across every site, a direct relationship, and a bias toward action. It also wanted to get ahead of AI-driven search. When a buyer asks an AI engine who handles a discreet executive move, K2 needed to be the name in the answer.

The Solution

Running six sites as one system.

Estate-Wide Ownership

One partner handles the whole estate: Webflow builds, technical search work and AI visibility across all six sites, run as a single system with shared standards rather than six separate projects. K2's security team ran a 36-question cyber due diligence questionnaire and a client-side MSA before the work began.

Read Everything, Then Write Less

Every article on all six sites was read. 196 posts passed the mechanical test and only 53 survived the editorial one: would somebody type this into a search engine without ever having heard of K2? That produced 205 new answers, each grounded in its own article, with no figure, date or threshold invented.

The Repair Work Underneath

Technical health rose on all five sites measured in the first month, by 5 to 10 points each. 230 markup errors were closed across the estate. 63 of the 75 links still pointing at the retired brand domain were repaired, and 40 internal links were placed from a map of 176 built by reading 153 articles.

The Outcome

The name AI engines give for VIP relocation.

Three of Four Engines Name K2

Twenty buyer questions went to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude on 31 July 2026 with web search enabled: 80 answers, and the group's first baseline. Asked which providers handle executive and VIP moves discreetly, three of the four engines cited K2. That is one answer owned outright.

FAQ Library, 244 to 449

205 new answers across the estate, each attached to the article it belongs to. 75 of them run in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin. Regulatory content stayed in English deliberately, because visa thresholds and tax treatment carry real risk if a translation drifts.

A Legacy Domain Retired Properly

The old domain fell from 103 ranked terms to 3, and the group's brand search moved to first place on the live site. 261 stranded URLs were mapped to the brand destinations that should own them.

Board-Grade Monthly Reporting

A monthly report covers traffic, keywords, authority, AI visibility and the technical work delivered, per site. Every number names its source, work delivered is kept separate from work expected, and it is built to go straight to the board.
